Icons Live 2 at Choctaw Grand Theater

Icons Live 2 is a large-format tribute production staged at the Choctaw Grand Theater as part of the resort's Mid-Autumn Festival celebration. The concert brings together six of Vietnam's most celebrated artists, Thu Phương, Tuấn Hưng, Ưng Hoàng Phúc, Trung Quân, Kỳ Phương Uyên, and Lâm Minh Ngọc, for an evening built around world-class vocals, a full live band, and exclusive on-stage collaborations. It is the kind of show that fills the Grand Theater and draws a region-wide audience.

What to expect

Doors open at 6:00 PM with the show starting at 7:00 PM. Like every Grand Theater booking, photo ID is required and parking is free on-site. Advance tickets are sold through Ticketmaster; the casino box office does not sell this show in advance, so buying online ahead of time is the reliable route. Guests traveling up for the Mid-Autumn weekend often pair the concert with dinner at one of the resort's restaurants before the 7:00 curtain.

Why it matters for the area

The Choctaw Grand Theater in Durant continues to prove why it belongs in the Northeast Texas entertainment discussion, booking everything from country and rock to international tribute productions. For residents of Lamar County, that means big-show variety sits just over an hour away, without a trip to Dallas. It also reflects the region's growing diversity, a point worth noting for anyone moving here and asking what the area has to offer.

The drive from 3870 County Road 45080 to the theater runs about 65 minutes. For a Sunday evening show, leaving by 5:15 PM gets you there comfortably before doors.
