ALLTEX Paris Gun and Knife Show at Love Civic Center

The ALLTEX Paris Gun & Knife Show is one of the regular civic center draws, a two-day weekend market for firearms, edged tools, and the kind of gear that fills a collector's table. Dealers set up across the Love Civic Center floor on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with tables of new and used firearms, knives, accessories, ammunition, and related merchandise. It draws a steady crowd from across Lamar County and beyond.

The show is held mid-December, which makes it a natural stop for anyone already planning a weekend at the civic center. It sits right at the end of the holiday season, a working-market weekend rather than a festival, and admission is handled at the door. Hours on Sunday are shorter, so collectors usually come early, but the floor stays busy both days.

Why it matters for the area

Gun and knife shows are a fixture of rural Texas life, and the fact that Paris hosts one every few months speaks to the community's character. For anyone buying acreage in Northeast Texas, it is also a practical note: the Love Civic Center, the county fairgrounds, and the dragstrip keep the events calendar full all year, which means there is always something on the schedule within a short drive of property like 3870 County Road 45080.
